i gotta admit you were all right. the waffle weave microfiber (mine from ranney) drying towels are VASTLY superior to the absorber. when i bought this very same absorber years ago i thought it was a modern miracle. but man, waffle weaves blow the absorber away. one swipe with no water streaking...
