i recently purchased the poorboys portercable kit from auto geek and it comes with a 5 inch backing plate as well as a few 5 .5 in pads ( i purchased a few extra) and a few 6.5 in pads. i was wondering if the counterweight is necessary along with a larger backing plate for the 6.5 in pads...

so ive been detailing my own car since i bought it about 2 years ago and it got painted about a year ago and ever since it was painted there are swirl marks through out the paint...probly in the clear coat..ive tried everything and all i can do is hide them, i cant get rid of them...any ideas on...
