Megs #9 vs. 3M SMR

What's that smell?
To those of you who have used Megs 9 and 3M SMR, which product do you prefer on dark cars? I know both products use fillers, but which is more agressive for actually removing fine swirls with a polishing pad on a PC?
 
I have used both and they both seem to have about the same level of aggresiveness, I like the SMR for Dark Cars but I usually use Meguiars Swirl Free Polish because I can use it on any color.
 
I use both but on dark car i will lean toward 3m';s
Meguiras makes two products a Swirl Remover and another a Swirl Polish to fill in where the other product left off...
