well i just finished the claying step in my day devoted to detailing

however!

ive spent a good 20 min on 2 spots where there has been sap since like november(i was in dorms, i couldnt wash it... despite how much i tried)

ive gotten all the top stuff off, but there is still the bottem layer, you can barely feel it with your hand, the clay glides right over it, but its quite an eyesore

i dont know what kind of tree, probably pine or maple(i lived in canada)
i have some simplegreen, should i let that sit on it for awhile?

id appreciate some quick help guys, any suggestions, i dont want to put some upp over it......

I was also going to suggest 3Ms Adhesive and Wax Remover. Usually can find it at most any Wally World.

Yep, everything the guys mentioned will probably work. Also, a little mineral spirits, or turpentine will also do the trip.

I have found that straight methyl hydrate on a soft cloth will remove the sap very easily with no damageing affects to the paint.
You can usually get it at most hardware stores.:D
