S100 vs Platinum UPP

I have put a couple of coats of UPP over AIO on my wife's Silver Spruce '00 Avalon. A quick QD with the Platinum Gloss Enhancer and the car looks brand new. I'll stay with UPP on the Silver Spruce.

My Black Santa Fe is a different matter altogether. The car costs about half what an M Class Mercedes - the paint is about half as refined. It is a constant battle to keep the finish looking good. I don't own a PC - and can't really see investing $150 or so on a tool that I'll use a couple of times a year. (I'm almost 70 years old, so the tool would outlast me.)

I guess that I'll stick with the filler/glazes and S100. This combination makes the Santa Fe quite nice indeed.

Yep, the UPP is still a sealant, and doesn't "hide" many imperfections. The AIO, will hide a little, but not much. The products with lots of oils/fillers are much better for that purpose.

If we can work something out, I can let you use my Porter Cable
a few times a year.....I Work in Columbia, Md a few days a week...
(I had 2 Porter cables a while back, lent one out, he end'd up buying from me...) may have to get another one to lend out...DWAYNE!!!!!
Got one for my brother, im his favorite brother now...
