Klasse SG application

I've been working with my new PC 7424 and Klasse AIO followed by SG on my Nissan Titan. Results with AIO are excellent.
Question: is SG best applied by hand? I first applied SG with a new, gray finishing pad (part of autogeek's $50 kit) with the PC set at 4 followed by a hand buff. Didn't look so good. Went back over it with a hand application (three actually) and buff. Looks great.
Where did I go wrong?

It's better to apply the SG by hand with a good foam applicator pad. Use sparingly . If you do do decide to use a PC for that job, then you want to use the finishing pad, or a as fine a pad as you can get, and apply at a slow speed.

Thanks Ace and usdm for your advice. Just finished the SG application, sparingly and by hand. Excellent results! Titan glows.

I have always had issues appling SG on my black car .. even wipe on wipe off on a sq ft is hard to remove.

A couple days back I applied the SC with a cordless orbital and a 4" pad and removed it with the PC ..

How I did it

Sounds like your applying to much . Less is better ,try misting your applicator pad with some water or Sonus Spritz if you have it . Good luck

Been there done that .. also you should note that soon as you spritz with anything your changing the chemistry of the SG ...

I used a slightly damp VIking Handi-Grip applicator to apply SG. I never get the streaking issues some people encounter.
