A very clean 1990 5.0 Mustang

Me and my friend Shawn worked out butts off on this car. We started at 5:30, and worked till 9:30. I mean this car looks absolutely beautiful

Steps:
1st: Wash with Megs GC Wash
2nd: Clean grime off lower-panels with bug & tar remover (Turtle Wax brand)
3rd: Clayed car using Magic Clay and Megs QD
4th: Washed car again
5th: Applied 1 coat of Megs Swirl Remover 2.0
6th: 1 coat of Mothers Back to Black on trim
7th: Applied 2 coats of Megs #7
8th: Buffed in remaining Mothers Back to Black
9th: Applied 1st coat of Megs HE Tire Gloss
10th: Applied 1 coat fo Megs #26
11th: Applied 2nd coat of Megs HE Tire Gloss
12th: Final wipe down of car and triple cleaned all windows with Eagle One 20/20

Now for the pics

This is by far the biggest cleaning I have ever done. Does anyone care to comment on the steps I took, or what could be done to improve the final finish?

The car looks terrific. Maybe you should be telling someone what steps to take and show them how to improve the final finish. It looks like your time and effort was well spent.
One thing, all the products you used can be purchased at your local auto supply store. Looks like you don't have to have all the high dollar stuff to turn out a good looking job.

Well Iw as planning on two coats of Megs SR 2.0, but when we tested it on a panel, it made no difference, so we skipped that step.

The #7 looked pretty good at one coat (We were starting to get tired here) and we almost quit, but I forced us to keep going, once we saw what the 2nd coat did, we could only imagine what it would look like with the #26.

The only thing I really need is to get some good #34 FI, and that is sold nowhere locally.

In other news, A local shop sells Sprayway Glass Cleaner YAAAAAAAAY!

I guess I could have added this in via edit, but ammendums are more fun.

If someone were to ask for a job similar to what I just described. With nothing more than a vaccum and vinyl wipe on the interior, what kind of price should I be asking for?

Agreed! Products are only a piece of the puzzle (so why do we all stress out over minute differences? LOL).

For the FI try a body shop supply stote. In Memphis places like colormatch automotive finishes and sherwin williams automotive carry the FI by the gallon(@20). Great deal IMO.

The car looks very nice!

Thanks for the comments, and especially the compliments. I worked hard for that finish, its nice to know people appreciate the workmanship.

Can anyone give me an idea for a price on this kind of work?

Also, can someone tell me how to take care of my car now that I have done all of this?

Do I need to just wash it, and throw on some #26 wax? Or do I need to repeat the whole process?
