WAUD and PWC

III

On my last washing I used wax as u dry on my vehicle. I now want to use poorboy's pwc since I just received it, and I was wondering if I can use pwc without stripping off the waud? I understand that pwc has cleaners in it, but how much cleaner does it have? My vehicle is in pretty good condition, so I want to use pwc as a one step process only.

I doubt that whatever they put in the Wax as U dry will hold up very well to any product with even the lightest cleaners. PWC will probably remove it with a minimum of effort. You can regulate the cleaning abilities of PWC (and other products) buy the application method you choose. In this case, just put the PWC on there with your normal method. Even if it doesn't remove all the previouse stuff, it won't hurt anyhow.

I find PwC a pretty good cleaner (its cleaning ability is always under rated ;)) . I was using it on a just washed white car and my yellow foam pad turned black with just a few swipes on the hood :-p . Probably PwC will remove the wax from WAUD

Thanks folks. So here's the next question then. If PWC will remove old wax because of the cleaners, how can it have cleaners and wax in the formula both at the same time? This would also apply to products such as meguiar's cleaner/wax. How can you have both properties in the same bottle? Wouldn't the properties cancel each other out sort of?
