Strange name, ain't it?
No more micro-fiber, no more specialized "glass towels", forget newspaper and plain old paper towels! I just got done using the best glass towel I've ever tried.....those rolls of blue Scott "Shop Towels" they sell in the automotive section at Wally World. I think they were $1.79 per roll and I got a few just to keep on hand in the garage for checking motor oil, etc etc. A short while ago I was outside and went to clean the windows on my car and just grabbed about 7-8 sheets of the roll and holy cow, am I happy I did. The windows had their usual layer of dirt and road grime and sap from the huge oak at the end of my driveway. Now, with these blue towels and my usual Meg's Detailer Line Glass Cleaner Concentrate, they are sparkling clean with much less effort than any mf or other towel I've used on glass.
They are much stronger than normal paper towels and leave zero lint on the glass. The texture is a tad rough which helps to remove crud and grime from the glass. No streaking, no lint and no falling apart like regular paper towels. I used one stash for cleaning with the solution and another stash for final wipe down/drying.
No I can dedicate that stack of mf rags I previously used for glass only to interior cleaning/dressing. Give them a try if you haven't already.
