Platform or step stool repost for BillD

Bill,

You may also want to look into getting one of these........

I picked up a couple of these late last fall. I have an 4WD F-150 Supercrew, and this mitt/handle comes in real handy. The mitt is pretty decent lambswool, and can be removed to wash. Standing on a 2" stool, I can reach all the way across the roof, windshied, and tonneau cover from one side.

Anyhow............. just a thought!

i built my own step. two and a half high by 2 and a half wide. some good ply wood and 2by 4's .. most people can draw up a blue print and cut 2x4's the same lenght for spuuoprt screw it all together and seal it with some poorchfloor paint. i build 3 so far and use them in my shop they are sturdy cost 6 dollars to build and work great

That Gorilla platform is the best thing I've ever bought! I absolutely love it!

Costco has a similar one for a little less. It's a little smaller, but is comparable.

Costco has a version of the gorilla platform for about $20.

Boss, wal mart had those on clearance(around here anyway) last month for about $5, I bought a bunch! Very cool when detailing large trucks and SUV's.
