Im just a little confused here on acid wheel cleaners. Please dont say im stupid or anything might hurt my feelings:( j/k anyhow what kind of wheels can you use any acid cleaner on?
 
It's typically used for chrome wheels. If it is too strong, it will spot on aluminum, and if left on too long, can eat through clear coated rims and/or haze them.
 
Hi-Temp makes an acid wheel cleaner that is safe for all types of rims. I have used it for several years with great results. It is available at Top of the Line.
 
I cut mine 50/50 with water. I will use it on anything except uncoated aluminum. I spray it on, count to ten and hose off. Never clean a hot wheel or more than one wheel at a time, wear gloves and goggles.

Also, pay attention to the wheels you are cleaning as sometimes they are made of more than one type of metal/coating.
 
Sounds like a Hi-Temp product, but sold through Top of the Line. I'll look up the actual name under the site.
