Ok guys i have 100.00 to spend to get detailing chemicals to do 4 cars give me suggestions a-z what i need.I can buy quarts will that size do 4 cars? poorboys stuff good? and will he work with me on my budget?

I would get some clay, Meguiars DACP, Clearkote's Vanilla Moose and Poorboys EX w/carnuaba or S100. That should take care of at least half your budget. :headbang

Too many choices, but here's some

1.Four Star Ultimate Paint Care Kit $94.95 (10% discount for DC members + free shipping for purchase of more than $75)
WASH + CLAY + Clay Lubricant + CLEANSE + 4* Ultimate Paint Cleanser + 4* Ultimate Paint Protection + 4 * Ultimate Gloss Enhancer + ( 1 - Sheepswool Wash Mitt, 4 - Soft Terry Applicators, 4 - Foam Applicators, 6 - 16"x16" Soft Touch Microfiber Towels) + Poorboys Natty's Paste Wax $15.00

After 10% discount the above purchase will come to around $ 99. You can ask Dwayne to keep the change :lmfao

2. Motorcitypoorboys . They are having 20% sale on some/most of poorboys products, you can custom choose your kit, just pm elortt (another member in DC), he's another cool n friendly guy, and someone I have alot of respect of.

3.Specialtymotoring , ScottP'll be able to custom prepare a kit for you as per request I believe, he's another top member here in DC. In fact I just collected a big poorboys order from him thru Steve yesterday. Cheers Scott n Steve if you're reading this, the order was in tip top condition and thanks for the free PVA (I love it!!)

4. Pakshak Another top bloke, A++ for customer service as with all those I recommend above.

Call any one of them up and they'll be able to sort you out ;).
I hope this is of some help for you.:)

What is your goal ...just the outside, ??

Its a start, but to do a good job you need more..
4 cars...$100...
You probably need a one or two step product, AIO, 4 Star UPP or Poorboys EX
You need to get the swirls out, a machine you'll need to get a PC for that...Poorboys Swr I
Tires , 4 Star had Bazooka, or Poorboys BnB
Windows , 4 Star has this
Metal, Poorboys Polish
Leather, 4 Star has great Leather porduct
Carpet Tide and water and scubing may work for you here
and on and on and on

Chee...Thanks for the kind words. Steve shuld gt eh credit as all that product and packaging was his work. :)

detailmogul - Since you are only doing four cars, quarts really wouldn't be needed. A machine like a PC would help, but people have been detailing by hand for years. Here is s short list to get you started, inside and out.

Poorboy's SSR2
Clearkote Vanilla Moose
Poorboy's EX (or EX-P is doing light colors or light metallics)
Poorboy's Natural Look for the interior
Poorboy's Bold N Bright for tires
Stoners Invisible Glass for windows
Woolite for interior cleaning (including leather)

All that will cost about $60 or so. Adding some nice microfiber towels will bump that up a bit. Clay is also an option, but you can expect to pay $25-$30 for some of the better 200 gram bars out there. I would suggest looking at a few kits that PAC, Autogeek and other vendors offer. You can usually save some money there.

More suggestion please

I had my own detailing business about 14 yrs ago and i am going to get back into detailing been practicing with my rotary for about two months on 5 car hoods i bought from the junk yard LOL!!! and i have four jobs to do but of course money is tight right now so $100.00 is all i have right now.I want pro products to do a complete detail.

This is my suggestion,
get the 1-2 Punch Kit from SMP http://specialtymotoring.com/kits.htm, than depending on the condition of cars, you can also pick up a bottle of SSR2 or 2.5, so combined your getting VM, (EX, EX-P, Nattys, your choice), 3 nice MFs, 1 applicator pad, 1 MF applicator pad and possibly SSR2 or 2.5. This should cost you a little under $50 shipped. The rest of the money I'd use at a local Autozone, Pep Boys or Costco(if you have membership), you can pickup some car wash shampoo(NXT, Gold Class, E1 Wet all very good), some glass cleaner(E1 20/20), clay(Clay Magic), tire shine, protectant, wash mitts, towels, brushes, etc. You gotta look at what you already have and what you need. Obviously if you have all the basic local stuff you can stock up and get more MFs, polishes and waxes. Either way try to do all your shopping in one place to save on shipping. Hope this helps
