1st Time Purchases: A-OK ?

HondaMan

2004 Civic EX magnesium
OK, I'm ready to buy my first products through the sponsors here.

Was looking for feedback to see if I'm missing anything or buying wrong:

(1) A bunch of microfiber towels (am I right in assuming they're not just for drying but for applications?)

(2) 4* Ultimate Clay Combo Kit (for my new Civic or the folks older car)

(3) Clay Magic FINE bar (just for my Civic, when I decide to start claying after the car needs it -- it's still only 4 weeks old).

(4) Poorboys Polish w/Carnuba (is 12 oz. enough for a few turns?)

(5) Poorboys SSR1 (probably not gonna use it right away, for down the line).

(6) Poorboys PVA Sponges 4 Count (if I want to use them instead of the towels to clean and apply stuff)

Am I missing anything -- sealant, regular car wash, plain wax? I would like to apply a few coats of whatever best protects against chips and regular wear & tear to the car -- so I want to do all the layers right in a few weeks.

Any feedback welcome.

ok.,.

Get some PoorBoys EX or EX P , which ever you like best . Why the 2 Clays . I think you would be more then happy with the just the 4****kit.

HondaMan,

12 oz of PP should be enough for a few times.
The PVA sponges are great for applying sealants ( I never used them for cleaning )

Thanks folks....and OMG....that picture scared the c*** out of me...I think it'd take me as long to come up with all that stuff as to do the actual cleaning and detailing !!! Yikes !!!

Well, live and learn...will do it myself a few times....if I find I'm getting up at 7 AM on Saturday and finishing the whole shebang at 5 PM, then it's off to the Yellow Pages looking under "D" for Detailers !!! lol

I just got told about this site while on vacation a week earlier....will have to catch the next one or similar items. Thanks for the heads up -- yeah, Haverstraw is right next door, too bad. Next time!
