hey guys i am just searching for the wettest combo....

I was wondering how wet this combo would be???? How well does VM look over SSR 1

SSR 2.5
SSR1
Vanilla Moose by hand
EX by hand
Then topped with 3 coats of Trade secret one after the other

Like I mentioned in your other post, VM and SSR1 give very similar looks. VM is a touch wetter. Using both is more or less a waste IMHO.

VM has some fillers in it (and by hand your getting more of a glazing result) - so I would say go for it..

I've been thinking about this combo for a while, too. Next time I have a chance, I am going to try this as well.

I just did my bimmer with SSR2.5, SSR1, VM x 2 and Pinnacle Souveran & Natty's (half & half). The wettest combo I've ever seen. If you want a wet look, SSR1 and VM are a must in my book.

Thanx membim. Now what side looks better the Pinnacle or Natty's and what color is the car?

I'll be 100% honest. I can't tell a difference on my jet black 330Ci. This is a great car for testing the look of different product combos. I am truley impressed with Natty's wax. Especially for $15. My test proved two things:

Prep is much more important than your final wax.
Pinnacle is a great wax, but Nattys is just a good for $15.

hmmmm, how about if the car is in some pretty bad shape? would you go with ssr 2.5, skip ssr 1, go to VM, then EX-P/nattys?

I would say that on a dark color car, you should NOT skil the SSR1 as the 2.5 might cause some amount of hazing. On a light colored car you might be able to get away with it, but ive never tried so i'm not sure.

I've had good success going from SSR2.5 straight to VM or PwC on dark color cars. As long as you use a less aggressive pad and thoroughly work the SSR2.5 until it fully breaks down, it is possible to skip SSR2 and SSR1.

BTW - I also think that VM and PwC are equally simple to use.
