Any Performance Mods To YOUR Car?

I think it's safe to say that most of us here are car guys...errrr...or car gals...so does your obsession stop at paint care and detailing or are you a gear head as well?

I've been a car guy longer than I can remember, and when I purchased my Civic Si last fall I didn't waste any time researching various performance upgrades.

So far I have:

-K & N Typhoon Series Cold Air Intake
-Magnaflow Cat Back Exhaust

I can honestly say that both mods were worth every penny and then some. While neither one can really be felt seat-of-the-pants, they definitely increase smiles as the tach (quickly) races to 7,000 RPM. It's not uncommon for me to get in the car and turn the radio OFF, and instead listen to the sound of the engine as I cruise home from work.

Long term mods planned:

-Hondata FlashPro (After warranty runs out)
-HFP (Honda Factory Performance) 18 inch wheels.

So with that being said, what mods have you done to your car? If you haven't done any yet, what mods are on your wish list?
 
For my Land Rover discovery 2 I put snow tires on for off-road adventures. Also took front bumper cover off for more clearance, and thinking about putting a snorkel on in the near future.

Not too many options for a little Chevy sonic. I'd really love to get HID headlamps and convert other bulbs to LED.

If anything I'd want an intake but probably skip on the exhaust. Not the biggest fan of little 4 bangers with loud exhausts

I'm waiting to finish my payments!! I used to own 3 modified vehicles at once lol. I had jeep CJ with a 350 lifted with straight side pipes for when I felt like wheelin. A eagle talon making to the tune of 600 awhp fully built block and head (rods, cams, pistons, valves, springs etc..) obviously with a massive turbo and standalone fuel management. And a honda del sol daily with bolt ons and a B18c.
 
I'm fighting my bad habit with this car and trying to keep it as stock as possible. I'm thinking about getting darker tint but that's about it.

I've never seen that thread! Awesome! I had no idea you were an audio guy. I worked at an audio shop for 2 years and never considered it work.

My 2014 Civic Si is leased so no real mods, but I guess you can call this an upgrade in visibility performance.

I also made my own license plate bracket so the top of the plate is now flush with the top of the bumper instead of below it.
 
Used to have a '93 Rx-7. Street ported motor, rebuilt stock twin turbos, Apexi intake, large Koyo radiator, HKS then switched to Blitz BOV, upgraded intercooler and vacuum hoses and a Blitz Nur Spec catback. A little bit of suspension and brake work as well. It was my dream car but unfortunately I didn't have the money to do everything I wanted or keep it once my daughter was born.


Was dropped right after fitting these wheels.

Only two on a 2008 RAV4 Limited V-6. Larger anti sway bar at the rear and a tower strut brace under the hood. It handles well for a tall grocery getter.

FX=3 suspension but it has been lowered plus custom programing on the computer that controls the shocks.
Wheels replaced with chrome 11 inch wide GS style wheels with G Force king of dry tires.
Frame has X bracing for improved handling. Hurst short throw shifter.

It has nothing to do with performance but it has a Mega Buck Custom Black paint job on it.

That's the kind of mods I was thinking about. Tell us about the horse power. Thanks.

Mark horsepower is variable depending on the nitrous setting but last time on the dyno it made 1188 hp this was with a 150 shot of nitrous and 20lbs of boost. The D1-R is capable of 32lbs.
I can spray much more but two things keep me from wanting to try it.
#1 I don't want to drive the crank out on the ground.
#2 Hard to get hooked up so unless I tub it and go for 20 inch tires not much point in turning it up.
I have always tried to keep it looking stock ULTIMATE SLEEPER
Just a 25 year old vette with a stock L98 :lol2:
I don't see myself ever butchering the body to run more than the 12.5 that I have on it.
After all it is just a street car.
I have not been able to drive it in over a month broke my wrist will be in cast till sept.23rd.

I bet that's a fun toy. Most V8's nowadays have cylinder deactivation for better MPG, whereas Black Bart's has a second fuel pump to kick in above 3.5k. :bow
