Just One More Coat
Buddy of mine crashed his van and wants to get the new Chrysler Hemi Station wagon, but wants to wait until later in the year. This car is a beater for him that he picked up for $1000.00 and has 160.000 miles, but is in great shape. I clayed the car then used PB P-W-C using a cut pad on the PC. Then WG pre wax polish and finished with carnauba. The pics here do not give you the WOW that the finish really looked like.

Yeah looks great .You tell the difference in before and after . It has *pop* in the after pics.

Thanks it was really mcuh better in person, but for a 24 year old car it came back it life. I used PB TR on the rubber. I put in on 5 sperate times because it kept soaking in. The rubber looked almost brand new after

I burned threw a half block of clay it was like sand paper but that set the paint up for the polish. The PB P-W-C is a great product, it brought the paint right up to speed. Then the WG polish which I've growen to like gave it a really wet look topped with 100% carunba that really made it stand up

I didn't think of it before, but I bet your buddy could sell that car and double his money .

I said the same thing to him. I told him that when the guy that sold it to him see it he's going to kick himself for not detailing before he sold it. You could have at least got anoter 500 or so and that would have paid for the detail.

Dave,

Don't you think using WG Polish would have taken off the carnauba of PWC? Seems to me that WGPPE would be more of a paint cleaner. I've never used PWC with a cut pad either. Just curious :dunno

Nick

Good question don't have an answer but the finish was great. I topped with carnuba paste wax. Thinking I should have polished with a straight polish to start then PWC

Maybe even reversed the order, WG with a polish or cut pad, then PWC with a polishing? In the end, the results were nice and you liked what you saw.....that's all that matters :bigups
