What happened to SuperSoft WafleWeave Drying Towel?

The Whaler Loves Detail City
The reason I ask is because I washed a neighbor's daughter's car today. Well the neighbor's daughter's son(you following this? lol) asked me what I used to dry it. I told him and he asked me how much. I said somewhere around 12/15 dollars. He said that was too much and he'd go to Pepboy's and get a chammy. I gave him an Absorber as I do not use it any more.. I just got on here and went to PAC to look up the price of SSWWDT"s and they're gone. The only drying towel I see is Big Blue II. When did this happen?

That's funny you mention it because I was looking for one a few minutes ago also. PakShak, Autopia, Excel Detail, and a few other places are also out of their WWs and are getting restocked mid July. I'm assuming manufacturer disruption of some sort?

I never used the towel you are talking about, but the Big Blue II is UNBELIEVABLE!!! Its by far the best drying towel Ive ever used. It can dry the whole car without having to be rung out, even once. Its microfiber so it won't induce scratches, even the edges and the tag are microfiber. What more can a drying towel possibly do?

I bought a couple of the BBT II towels too. As the original BBT was my favorite waffle weave drying towel, I had high hopes for the new model. BBT II is a high quality towel, with neatly sewn edging and decent drying ability. It seems softer than the original, but at the same time does not appear to be as absorbent. Of the previous PAC waffle weave offerings, I preferred the Premium Towel over the Super Soft Towel. IMHO, today's best value for WWs may be the Poorboy's 24"x36" model @ $12.

I bought the SSWWDT's on Dwyne's recommendation. I really the towels. They soaked up water and didn't have to be wrung out. I was just surprised they're not being carried anymore. I won't need any drying towels for awhile.
