The microfibers I use to wash with are Cobra Shamrocks, I'm not sure if they're available anymore.

It looks to be similar to other 600 g/m² MFs out there. Using a MF to wash the car would stop me from hanging up a MF or sponge in the garage to potentially collect dirt. The MFs could be washed/dried and stored away in a bucket.
 
Viewing this on my computer monitor instead of my phone is night and day. Great job once again on the detail. Which tire dressing did you go with for this detail?

Finished up with Opti-bond. DEEP cleaned with APC+, Super Degreaser, and then Meguiars #40 beforehand.

Its funny, I always get people asking me who I bring with to do photography while I work, puzzled I respond "...myself?"

The restoration rejuvenations are tedious, pain staking, and stress inducing. But they are the most rewarding when complete.
 
Waiting on AG to finally get the Sonax Perfect Finish on the shelves, which should happen before the holiday. In terms of aggressiveness, where does S3Gold fall when compared to say M105?

Brilliant work! Great write up! I have some PS21 Polishing Soap but never got results like you. I must try harder!

M105 has the edge in terms of cutting ability, but I find that S3 is more pleasurable to use.
 
Thanks Connor - I've had a lot of success with M105 and the dusting is simply that - would I prefer that it didn't dust; of course, but it wouldn't prevent me from using the product especially since it works so well. Curious about several other compounds, S3 Gold being one of them at the top of my list. Menzerna FG-400 is another.
 
maybe a stupid question, but im pretty new....

when you say "APC/Super Degreaser", do you mean you used Megs Super Degreaser? Or an APC and Megs super degreaser?
