How long does 1 gallon of S&W last?

It will streak if you use too much, something you will just have to practice and get a good feel for. I would say about 3-4 ounces per wash for a sedan.

I only get a little streaking if the car was too dirty, you use too much and you didn't have good mf.
About 2-4 ounces is right, it also depends on how dirty the car is, how good the finish was before it got dirty, and if you are doing wheels and tires too.
A new customer of mine locally, who I met on Friday told me he used about 2 ounces on his Cayanne, but then again I taught him how to use it in person:D

Hey, how about putting it a pressurized cooking oil sprayer, resembles aerosol when sprayed, to eliminate the streaking?

actually i have a customer that buys the same pressurized bottle Dri-Wash uses to get a very nice mist, I also have had many people tell me they like to use empty Final Inspection bottles as they also give off a fine mist...when we buy our next 10 thousand bottles we'll see what's available :)

Steve, I use the pump and spray bottle for my SNW and it's simply the best. I'm ordering more for dressings and my FI as the bottle it comes in, well, sucks!!

maybe you can share with us where you get the pump n spray bottles:) the only problem i have heard about them is that after you pressurize them if they are dropped, they explode:dunno

Hey Steve if you wanna get rid of those ugh...... Spray heads... just PM me and I can arrange for em to be destroyed. :lol

thanks for the offer, but I have no problem with them, and we picked them as a good cross product sprayer not just for S & W...I'll probably start gathering samples from different suppliers and maybe get a few different one this time around:)

Well the only problems I had were they were a pain in the ass to press and the solution didn't spray exactly in a direct foam. Lessons learned! Poorboy's World rocks! :D

whew. i thought i was weird because i wanted to use the meg's detailer bottle for my spray and wipe. those things are smooth!!!!!!!!!!!!! but for now, im fine with what i got from ranney

The Meg's burgundy Quik Detailer bottles are very nice. I use one for Final Detail. For Spray & Wipe, I use a ZEP Professional bottle from Home Depot (seems to be identical to the Rubbermaid bottle from Target). It produces a very even spray at high volumes, so I can cover a large area with just one pull of the trigger. The mist pattern is not quite as fine as the Meg's QD bottle, but it's finer than most other sprayers that come with a 32 ounce sized bottle.
