Porter cable 7336 VS. 7424

Hello, I would like to know the difference between the 2 polisher's. I have seen the 7336 at lowe's for $109.00, is this the same as the 7424 besides the number? Thank you, Sellncars

I'm pretty sure they're very similar if not the exact same.

I think the difference between the two is that the 7424 comes with the 5" backing plate and counterweight and the 7336 comes with the 6" combo.

Which model would you purchase? The 7336 is $109.00 at lowes, the 7424 is slightly higher depending on where you buy it online.

www.coastaltools.com has the 7424 for $119 plus they give you a free 6" velcro backing plate and weight for the 6" backing plate.

I just went and made my order and cant wait unit i can try this out. I have a dewalt 849 buffer right now and i hate swirl mark's, especially on Black cars. Hopefully this and the right product will eliminate all those problem swirls.
