UPP application ???'s

I currently use Liquid Glass. I have used LG for 17 years and thought it may be time for a change. I ordered Four Star UPP, Cleaner and Gloss Enhancer.

I will use the Four Star cleaner before applying the UPP, but should I do anything else (clay bar, etc) before applying the UPP. I have 5 coats of Liquid Glass on it now. I will be using it on a new truck(3 months old), so the paint is in good condition. The truck is Silver Birch Metallic.

I hope I see a difference with the Four Star UPP. I have tried other products, but always go back to LG.

It's never a bad idea to clay your vehicle regardless of it's condition. This will insure a smooth, contaminant free surface to work with. If your truck has been well maintained, you may get away with only claying the larger upper panels...hood, top of cab, etc. I have never used LG, but I can assure you that UPP will not be a dissapointment. It is best to layer this product with at least 3 coats. Wait 24hrs before reapplication.
