Thanks guys - appreciate the input.
Well, currently, I'm just doing a few people at work, and I'm charging $150.00. But I'm not fast - I should say that up-front. I manage two coats of sealant because I get their car on Friday night, start it on Saturday morning and return it Sunday afternoon.
For the one guy, a Black Yukon, I will charge $175.00. I spent an exhorbitant amount of time on that one!The other is a volvo and the one I did this weekend is a lincoln mercury.
When I do one of these cars - the wife works the interior and I do the outside. We do just about everything there is to do on them. And it takes the major part of Saturday and a good bit of Sunday to complete.
The only reason I do them is because I wanted to pick up some extra money to support my detailing habit! And well, the one I did this weekend I did last October and will again in the fall. The black Ykon I will do again in the fall and the volvo will be my first time for it. Likely as not I'll be doing it again in the fall too. I really don't want to do any more than these three.
So, the reason I ask is because it does take a lot of my time and effort and well, I'm thinking I may increase the price to $175.00 next spring. But I wanted to kind of get a feel if this was rerasonable or not.
And oh yea, the cracks and crevices - everything. Sheez, one guy had a leather daily minder in his car - so she treated that with leather conditioner too!!
