PB Spray & Wipe question

I got S&W several weeks ago and have used it every weekend since. I can see why there is a 5 gal version of S&W. It works great. My question is: What's the correct method to using S&W?

So far, I've tried it a panel at a time, but when I mist one panel, the mist travels to other panels. So, I thought maybe I should do the whole car, then wipe it down. Figured the extra time would help the product work on the dirt better.

Wanted to see how other DCers do it. BTW-It's the best product I've found to clean rims.

I spray about 1 to 2 swipes (limiting myself, a little goes along way) for each panel. Let it sit for about 10 seconds to loosen the easy dirt and wipe off. The stuff that is hard to get out (sort of etched, but not a top layer of dirt)I sometime rub or just get another QD.

I wouldn't let it stay for a few seconds. In some climates it might just dry off or loosen dirt but hadren again.

I love S&W though! :)

The one panel at a time is the method I use. Overspray on other panels hasn't been a problem for me and your experience makes me wonder if you might be using more product than necessary.
I also mist my first wipe towel lightly with S&W before I start wiping an area.

Doing the entire vehicle before removing it seems like it would allow the S&W to dry too much. Remember, the S&W is carrying the dirt away just like a water wash would. If it gets too dry, it doesn't seem like it would be able to do that.

I agree:D do what you spray...thus the name .."Spray and Wipe" :)

not spray and wait nor spray and rest or spray and ? :lmfao

Sometimes I'll spray an entire side and wipe but usually the panel method is best. In the wind I'll do a large area because of the overspray or I'll hold the bottle close to the surface, or I'll spray the ww mf...or whatever.

Actually, I'm waiting for the "Spray and Drink a Beer, then Wipe". Thanks all for the advice. Gotta get more proficient with the S&W before I move on to black. Tried it on white and red, and really like it.
