Supplies for "First Practice Detail"

I took the advice of you guys on how to start getting experience detailing, So I will first start on my own two cars this weekend.

Can anyone give me a list of must need equipment, to thoroughly start the process. I will be doing the engine also, so keep in mind that it will be a full detail. I want to purchase everything that I would need for any car condition.
I do not need to know prices as much as I do the name of quality products, and the best place to get them locally, especially such things as buffers.

Please be specific

Looking forward to any help.
