The power of Meg's DACP

SWEEEEEEET WORK. I still get a warm fuzzy feeling when I see a shine like that. I also use DACP but I keep using Meguiars to the end. This MBZ was finished off with Meguiars #20.

Dean and Superior Shine, you guys have some great work. I hope to be there someday.

if i lived near you i would pull up a chair with a drink in hand , watch you do my vehicles...just great!!

I've not used that Megs product but I'm going to now. I will say that I love to work with the rotary over the orbital. The results are always better to me. Now that we have foam pads instead of just wool, you really can't do as much harm. I mean its harder to screw up a car with a foam pad. I remember using a wool cutting pad with light cut compound years ago and buring right threw the paint (single stage) on a corner. Today that seems not as easy, because of foam!!

So can you use a rotary for everyday polishing, like you would a PC? Always thought that a rotary was too aggressive for frequent use. Would like to get a rotary, but trying to balance the benefit to a rotary.

DACP

I too love DACP with my Makita Ro-Zilla...

I follow with SFP, then switch to PC and hand glaze or Menzerna FP.

You just cannot beat DACP with a rotary! And, with the correct pads, it goes more smoothly. Get's out all of my swirls on cars as well.

I've been playing with Menzerna IP and find it close to DACP in some aspects. Follow with FP and finish is so glossy, it almost hurts to put anything on it.

Deanski

Well on the foam / wool.. it's just as easy with compound to burn ...the foam gets the paint hoter faster
but yes i would train a new guy on a foam pad....with polish...i will say megs does ok if you have alot of time to get it off....sorry just dont have the time, im takeing to long as it is...lol
also i found it hard to work with on a hot day, dry's fast!.. most of there stuff doe's
You guy use alot of turm's im going to need to figure out !!like dacp-aio-up-ex.....all french to me?
