Your right some people do not have the critical eye and filler waxes would take care of that. I talk to Steve at PB once or twice a week, and I'm naking an order with him to handle his product line here in NO CA.

Anyway I'm not here to debate with you about this, I just pointed out what my thoughts where after talking to this guy. If they seem closed minded or judgemental to you I'm sorry

Also what was the name of the diner in Garland was in the down town strip...something likes Tubbys or along those lines. I use to eat lunch there all the time killer burgers and the guy had these young gals working there.......Something I never forget:lmfao
 
Agreed, not necessarily debating the point, but offering a more positive (IMO) spin to the assumptions. In this business there is seemingly always room for the niche players. This is evident by the success (proven by their longevity) of the "tunnel wash" businesses. These two would seem to offer a much better service than those. Let us know how they work out. I also think it would be a neighborly thing to do to let them in on this forum as we all can learn something new, be it technique or product.

I can only assume (there I go) that you mean Hubbard's Cubbard just off the square. Yes, the proprietress tries to make up for the lackluster food by hiring a bevy of cute waitresses just out of high school. I knew several of them years ago. A couple were also Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders. If you thought you had a good hamburger there, check with me if you are ever in Garland again, I'll show you a real good burger. BTW their chicken fried steaks are a disgrace too. I'll eat breakfast there from time to time. That is really about the only meal worth eating there. The real gem(s) are the pies. They are outstanding. If you don't get there early enough they are gone (noon is too late - order the pie when you place your meal order). But guess what, they aren't made there, she has them brought in from a lady in Garland.

Iam going to be bring in Steve product over this next week or so, I plan on a trip to see the in-laws and show him the line. I will at that time tell him about this place, but not before I ask FUZZ to delete this thread for obvious reason!!
