Trim first ?

Should I be doing my trim first when I detail the outside ? And will it help keep wax off ? I bought Trim Restore will this do the job ?

If you don't want wax to get on the trim, the best way to keep it off is to mask the trimming with painter's tape.

In my case, since I don't use wax, I apply Klasse on both the paint and trim with no bad effects

If you have very neglected trim that requires deep cleaning, then I would do that first before washing. For regular upkeep of well maintained trim, I prefer to apply dressings as my last exterior steps. I use Poorboy's Trim Restorer for textured/grainy trim and Clearkote Vanilla Moose for smooth trim.

The best way to prevent wax residue from staining is to use non-staining products.

Are the Poorboys products I purchased non staining ? SSR2,SSR1, PWC, EX .
I've used all 4 of those products and haven't experienced any staining problems. Pro Polish is a Poorboy's product which may create some staining. If you get any PP on your trim, buff it off quickly to avoid staining.
