SSR1 and 2 are so easy to use!

I just got my SSR1 and 2 in, and I got to use it this afternoon on a black CRV with a few scratches on the hood. It was so nice to use a product that wipes clean with minimal effort, and to use it in direct sunlight.

The scratches were from a bra and were all across the hood (this car is brand new), and they came out real easily with my PC. I received this work order from a car dealer, ran out to the customer's house, fixed the marring in about 20 minutes, and ended up with a customer who wants to maintain her vehicle with me! Thanks Steve and Jeremy @ Poorboy's for all the help and info, you've got yourself a regular customer.

Is SSR supposed to get real powdery when using a PC? I had a lot of the powder settle into undesirable places. Am I doing something wrong?

I am not even going to post what I am thinking but .........
No Bra = No Scratches ...

LOL I laughed out loud at this one.

You don't suppose it was a "hit and run" do you!

I haven't had that problem. It seems to nearly disappear when I use a PC to work the product. There's very little residue left to wipe off.

maybe I am using too much product? :dunno
Maybe. Or, you might not be working it long enough. :dunno For SSR1 use speed 4. For SSR2 or 2.5, I use speed 5-5.5. I also lightly mist my pad with distilled water to prime it prior to placing any product onto it.

I swear, SSR1 cuts my polishing time in half due to the easy removal. Unless I have to use a filler product like 3M on a black car, why use anything else? Same with EX. Easy removal with no streaking. Considering the way it looks it becomes kind of hard to justify using other stuff doesn't it? OK, I admit I love experimenting with other products and doing those 5-step deals just for fun, but in the real world, PBs is it.
