A few days ago I noticed some stickers on one of my towels. My daughter must have been bored. The adhesive of the stickers seemed to be a real pain to get off as soap and water didn't cut it. So, I decided to use a product called goo gone. It's save for clothing and I've used it before, but never on fabrics. Anyhow I probably should have posted this question before I did the deed, but I thought why not try it anyhow. It worked pretty well as the goo gone broke the adhesive from the stickers. I re-washed the towel and it looks great. Looks like no damage was done from the goo gone. (no color fading of the towel) Don't know if this was the smartest thing to do, but I couldn't think of anything else. I soaked the towel in hot water overnite, but that didn't work either.
