Having my van lettered...

Clean Dean

Keep it clean !!!
The past 3 years I have been using small magnetic signs on my detailing vehicles, and yesterday I met with a local sign shop to design some vinyl lettering for my van.

I will post picks, but does anyone else have some example of thier mobile advertising on their units.

Please show and tell !!!

Great thread, I thought about magnets myself, but I wondered if they can hurt the finish, so can anyone help me out?

How much is it going to cost to get your van lettered?

Both sides and rear doors ...

The entire cargo areas will be lettered and the rear doors. The will have Company name, description of service, phone number and website link for @ $400.

My magnetic signes were much cheaper, but had to be replaced a few time due to losing them off the side of van on the highway.

$400 bucks is worth the money Dean. We've had our company trucks (not detailing) lettered up for the past few years (5 in total). Basically a couple details from people seeing it pays it off.

Definitely post some pics when you got it up and everything!

Clean Dean great looking! I like the simplicity of the wording. Looks great!

Here is the Door of our work truck....You'll find this out for yourself, but vinyl letters are hard to work around. I find myself spending about an extra 15 minutes using brushes to remove buildup.

Nice logo and lettering !!! The sign company I used did an OK job, but they were not the company of choice for the job. The company I wanted for the job had a 3 week waiting period !!! I would love to make a more professional looking logo and sign, but that will have to wait until next season.

WOW, 3 weeks is a bit long to wait. Realistically, it probably took our guy an hour to come to the office to shoot pics and estimate the job, another hour to come up with the solution (he emailed us pics of the truck with the virtual lettering on it), and then MAYBE 2 hours to apply them.

That company must be doing good up there. The good thing about it is that it's not permanent by any means, so let this one ride for awhile, pay itself off, and then look at it again towards the beginning of next season.
