I think admin decided to clean up the drama ... that's for a different site :notme:

As apparent from those who voted, most people don't care to see people rated ... yes there are lots of great detailers out there, some make themselves more visible than others. Some are fast ,some are slow, some have regular clients, some have to take whatever comes their way. Some charge $100 and some $1200 .. Some have friends and some don't :( some are on DC and some are not :rolleyes:

ps some are wash as waxers and some are detailers:lol2:
 
:bigupsWith the vast differences in all aspects of "detailing" not all people here do it for Gold. Some like myself do it for relaxation from there job and self gratification and yes clean personal cars.

What is a title here or frankly anywhere gonna get ya? Best detailer ? could be like biggest idiot,or greatest a-hole of all time. some people want to be big shots, some want to go through life quiet and unnoticed. They want there vehicles unbelievably clean and shiny. When you start adding overinflated titles here some will feel they don't fit in any longer and have nothing to add because of a pecking order. If local guys want to get together for bragging rights that's OK, but when you get that wave started here it will be a turn off to some great people that don't want to get involved in that mix. The wonderful part of this board is EVERY ONE HERE helps the other guy! its not about trade secrets,or not telling info because I want the shiniest car. Remember everyone started at the bottom here learning and asking questions and RECEIVING answers from there piers.This is what separates this board and this group of professionals from the egotistical other boards. Like they say there is a shoe for every foot, and a board for every person,this is my choice.


Many here have aired there feeling here about pompous post starting this thread and Its nice to see the vast outpouring of negative responses and feelings towards the suggestion. Not all people want to be recognised as a legend or at the least "legend in there own mind" Many here who I am sure are in fact the (Best of the Best) have raised facts as to why the tacular would not be accurate in judging.

Everyone wants to build a better mouse trap,wax,polish or whatever.In most cases things are just fine the way they are and should remain the same.:bigups

Reading this thread reminds me of another activity at which I am mediocre at best. I thought I could play golf until I went to my first PGA tournament... the definition of "taking it to the next level."

haha true, I'm sorry about wanting it deleted... it needs to be stickied, you're a national hero now!

Oh and if you'd stop wasting time at work and doing nothing online you can see the pic (well I'm at work wasting time doing nothing online but I can still see it hahah)

Your quite argumentative with me, and its painfully obvious to me & others.

you can disagree with anyone on DC, but you seem to come across with a tone of arrogance, or maybe that's ego...Either way I don't care...disagree all day

your colors are showing...and if you don't understand that term, Google is your freind.
