Car Wash or shampoos

I like Meg's #62, but ever since NXT came out...I've been using NXT. Good lubercaton and great sheeting action...

Also like Griots Wash and Pinnacle..

I might have to try that NXT wash........... the price is sure right!

Rick,

Yea.................. guess I'll have to try it. I've heard that some people still prefer the #62 to the NXT wash, and I know how good the #62 is, so I haven't been tempted to try the NXT. However, for the price, it's worth a shot! :D

Rick,

Don't like the #00 as well as the #62............... #62 is better priced too!

Gold class and #00 High tech wash is all I ever need to use. Unless you have a show car, I don't see any need for the high-end washes. Mid-grade is perfectly adequate for me.

From reading the Autopia web site - I think the Sonax price jump may be temporary. Seems like there is a distributor change in the works and Autopia paid a premium to get the old distributors remaining stock. It's a good story on their part at the very least!

I hope that the case, as I really like the Sonax! :bigups

I think the new Meguiar's NXT wash has softeners in it............ as a matter of fact, I'm positive! :D

When I need to remove all the wax/sealant etc I use Dawn. Any reason not to?...and don't tell me it dries out the paint. Paint is dry.

Sorry Jim, Paint is not fully dry. The only dry paint out there is fully oxidized paint. That is why a lot of the products we use have oils in them.

I love Pinnacle's wash. It's super lubed up so I don't get washing swirls. Another great car wash is Detailer's Pride. It's 90% as good as Pinnacles and costs a fraction less.

I wanted to post this:

For maintenance washes I use a PH balanced car wash like everyone was saying, but only what is recommended. If the bottle says 1oz. for every gallon, and you add 2oz. or more you have doubled the PH the soap, defeating the whole purpose....

Happy Dance!!
