SSR1 question

It won't hurt the window and if you have any water spots it will take those out.
Regular polish will work as well, but what is the reason that you want to use SSR1 on the windows to being with?
 
Hey Beemerboy. I guess the main reason is that I have it on hand. I have some water spots to get out. I use IG on a regular basis as my main window cleaner. I guess I could try to clay first. I also put rinx on the windshield before I realized there were water spots. Any suggestions?
 
I haven't used SSR1 on my windows, but I've used DACP and it hasn't hurt anything.

I haven't found anything to get water spots off easily, but Bar Keeper's Friend is the best I've used thus far.

I ordered something called "Ducky Water Spot remover", it's suppose to remove water spots. When I get it I'll try it out and post results. From what I hear it works great.
 
I agree...................... Pro Polish "ROCKS" on windshields, along with paint, chrome, clear plastic and I'm sure other stuff. Very versatile product! :bigups
 
Will Pro Polish work on hard, smooth black plastic, like side view mirrors and the trim along side windows? I can never seem to get those real clean and shiny. They always seem dull and faded (especially the side trim by the window, which looks like a thick plastic material over the metal).
 
Rockford, you should instead try Poorboy's Trim Restore to get that look you desire. I love the stuff!

PP and PwC will both work very well on hard, smooth black plastic. I use PwC on the side mirrors and B pillars of my '89 Accord regularly with great results. The black plastic side mirrors shine like new.

Restorer is made for grained vinyl or soft rubber, vinyl, leather...yes either PP or PwC will work on the hard smooth plastics...
 
i am looking for who ever posted something about" LA's totally awesome cleaner' . any help. i am trying to buy some of this cleaner . thanks gregg
