Hang in there ronkh !

Ronkh:
Hope you are feeling "better". The ups-and-downs of a prolonged illness takes its toll on you and your loved ones. I can only offer my genuine concerns, prayers, and encouragement. I have no idea how you are doing inside, nor can I relate to it. Never met you in person face-to-face, but I hope you know you have an extended Autopian family the cares about you, judging by all the posts above, despite all the good-natured ribbing and kidding trying to make you laugh in coping with this illness.

I cannot say enough good things about you. The world`s wisest man says in Proverbs 18:24 , "A man that hath friends must show himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother." You are a true personification of that verse. Thanks for starting this thread and physically helping out another Autopian when I cannot.

Swelling is still to bad to see if it`s gone. As well as there is another "small spot" adjacent to the old. But they can`t tell if it`s new growth, or old (hopefully dead) group of cells.

So it will be 6-8 weeks on roids and then back for more films.

Sorry for the results, Bud.

However, stereotactic radiosurgery is a potential option for these. May need some corticosteroids also to help with the swelling. Never give up!

They already did the radio surg. Doesn`t seem like it did anything...………….. :(

Was hoping for a 2nd round.

Ronkh- When do you expect news regarding what they`ll try next?

From what they said yesterday...……….. They may send me to Moffitt cancer center and have a neuro surg look at me, or...…
what I`d like is lets see what happens in 6-8 weeks, mebbe nuke it again...…. (not sure that`s an option.)

Ronkh- OK, but I`d sure see what the Neuro at Moffitt says if they do refer you. I gather it takes a while for the `roids to bring the swelling down (hence that "wait 6-8 weeks").
