Im going to be ordering some new products soon. I particulary need a dressing for engine kompartment and wheel wells. I have Meguiars Engine Kote but I dont really like not really a high gloss shine and have to spray alot to get good results (could be my sprayer). Im looking for something water based non-flammable for engine compartment and wheel wells. I know automagic has one called super dress it but cant find any automagic resellers online.


What would you all recommend. ?

I have the perfect product for that situation!! It's made by Adam's Polishes, and it is basically a Rubber and Vinyl dressing in a aerosol can!! Great shine, and even easier to use. It is called In and Out. I also use to get get into the crevices on the interior, and spray the air vents--gives a sweet touch of shine!! He does give a professional's $ rate.

What about wheel wells im more concerned with wheel wells i usally do a good job cleaning the.m Then they look dull espacially in my jeep the rear wheel well area is a textures type surface that even when 100% clean doesnt look clean until its dressed.
 
Absolutely, I forgot to mention that. I'm using it there as opposed to tire spray, as it attracts less dust, grime, and crap like that. It's a sweet shine! You won't be dissatisfied to say the least!
 
I use Eagle One Tire Gel havent found anything better love the shine the smell and the durability. I also have Eimann Fabrik Black Opal.
 
detail king and rightlook.com sell stuff like that if you are looking to buy by the gallon.I use p&s products but they might not be available out there where you live.
 
PB Bold and Bright is a great product for the wells and tires, it can be shinny but I like that look.
On the engine its great as well. I buff it a bit to keep it from being to shinny
 
Don't all these products get used faster since your spraying more? What is a cheap but good sprayer for wheel wells / engine compartments?
 
I like PB BnB and Stoners MSLT for engines and wheelwells. BnB has a high shine, while Stoners MSLT is only step or two above matte. I like the Stoners look, but I am concerned over the petroleum distilates on my tires over time (will it dry and crack my tires or ruin the look somehow?). Poorboy has recommended Trim Shine as an alternate to BnB for less shine. BnB looks really nice on engines, but I always use way too much. Might be my sprayers.
 
If Clean Dean reads this thread I wonder what he is useing for wheel wells and engine bay.

I use Poorboys BnB or Natural Look. I used to use Stoners MSLT on my tires but don't now that I've discovered BnB and NL, so I have about 40 cans of MSLT to use up somewhere. I've been using it in the wheel wells and in the engine bay as well as on the undercarraige when I go to shows and on the tire treads when at shows.
