Worst case, you become the crazy old guy with a house full of cats and a clean car!

This is already me.

I drove a truck to move some things over the last few days and it had manual windows. I have not been in a vehicles in quite some time that has the good ole winding type window lift mechanism. They were actually not that all reliable.

Better to find out her true personality now and not years later. And I`d ask what are considered real goals anyway? Some people are content with the lifestyle they have and enjoy their hobbies, whatever they may be, so whose to say what you`re supposed to be doing with your life as long as you`re happy and self sufficient. It sucks, but no sense on settling for someone who can`t understand you and support whatever you do. Worst case, you become the crazy old guy with a house full of cats and a clean car!
No cats. Don`t even have them on my car, haha

"Real" goals? Nah I guess not. Lol

I`m 31
own a home
have a corporate job
Have a hobby/business that`s somewhat successful
Own two vehicles
Have two bachelors degrees and a masters

Who needs real goals

I feel your pain, I work in the back half of a car dealership (used, yes I know what you all are thinking, I promise I take good care of personal cars). One of my job requirements is to take photos of the inventory, I have been inside numerous Chevrolet Cruze`s, and for the life of me, I still can`t find the trunk button inside the car, I always have to take the key out of the ignition and hold the trunk button. I do this with a similar knowledge of cars (FSAE member, avid wrencher, was Physics Major/Math and Mech Eng Minor).
Lol
Same boat
Finally figured out that dang Dodo glass sprayer trigger

I`m just an idiot. LOL

I seriously thought about swapping the 2.2 for my friends 4.3, but it would have taken too long, lol

I was just going to reply with something similar. I don`t get it, you finished college, own a home, have a good job AND have a side business.....what the heck is her definition of "goals". I`d tell you "sorry about the split buddy" but I`m glad for you instead, that could have been a nightmare to live with long term.

Better off alone than with bad company, enjoy that MKII!!!!

Just finished 30 For 30 on the Duke LaCrosse team rape scandal.....what a messed up story.

The power of the media and trial by public opinion is terrible

Bought me a new toy. Needs some cosmetic work, some love, and a couple parts but... it`s a bike. :)

Contemplating taking my 35% tint off and having it retinted to 20% all around (except the hatch, that`s already 20%). Not sure if it`ll really make much of a difference, unless I go top of the line and get Pinnacle or whatever else is comparable. I just can`t see myself spending $400+ for it right now.

Thats a good improvement... you`ll like it.

That`s darker than you think. Dropping an extra 15% when you only had 35 before. I won`t bore you woth the math, lol

Oh yeah, I know. I had a couple camaros with 15% on the front windows and 5% on the hatch, and that was great. Unfortunately, I have been pulled over three times for tint and ticketed once, which I why I went lighter on this car. I imagine southern states are a little more lenient though. Just not sure if it`ll make a noticeable difference when sitting outside all day at work.

Well you will hopefully be able to see better from inside the windows out at night, with lighter tint, right ?
Way before back up cameras became commonplace, it was always harder to back up at night with really dark tint in your back window..

I dont know what will really work that well on a vehicle`s side and back windows in the Tint world, but I do know that this product works great on the windshield to help cut down the amount of heat is in the vehicle by the end of the workday, out in the sun --- https://www.heatshieldstore.com/

I just watched a really neat Interview with a man Kyle Nel who is the director of Lowe`s Innovation Labs - Yeah, Lowe`s - the Blue Big Box Store...
See this -- Lowe's Innovation Labs
They have apparently made it really cool to go buy products to improve the inside of your home now, using a special IPad or something and I think some stores have these space age goggle head gear you wear that will allow you to see what different things you envision for your home project would actually look like Before you pulled the trigger... How nice is that ???

And as if that is not way cool from the traditional way of doing inside projects, these people are actually developing 3D printing in a way with help of another few companies, that will enable Astronauts to someday be able to 3D print whatever Tools they need in space for that 1 thing that they dont have any tools for!!!

Apparently, the technology already exists to make about anything you want in any media you want, metal, plastic, gold, etc., so these people are now working on making that 3D printer absolutely bulletproof so you dont have to call Geek-Squad-Outer-Space- to come out, and the Printer will be so easy to use, even an Astronaut with no training on it can operate it with 1 hand... Wow ---

Lowe`s !!! Who Knew??? :) I am go happy for them !!!

I was watching some retro SpiderMan cartons and the episode was called "The Peril of Parafino" a self-declared "wax master". He also uses a "thin coat of wax"

Just reminded me of Ronkh and Accumulator LOL

Here`s the video at that part (3:35min in)
