What did you do detailing wise today?

Finally had the opportunity to clean/decon/re-coat (PBL DWC) my rims today:

Ahhhh much better now :)

Mobile wash and wax. Sorry no before pics, but it was in rough shape; especially the wheels and tires. It`s been awhile since I detailed this Subaru but she told me she only lets me touch it (which made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside :) )

Rapidwaxx works great in direct sunlight.

Looks good Ray! What products/process did you use?

Wheels and Tires: Optimum Power Clean, Optimum FerreX, Meguiar`s All Season Dressing, Low Profile Tire Brush, Wheel Woolies, 8 inch Montana Wheel Brush.

Wash: Dodo Juice Born To Be Mild in Foamaster Foam Gun with Micro-Chenille Wash Mitt.

Trim: CarPro PERL

Glass: Sprayway Glass Cleaner

Dry: Cobra Supreme Waffle Weave Drying Towels and Metro Sidekick

Wax: Polish Angel Rapidwaxx

I had to wash and dry in sections since her water is so hard and I was working in the sun. She has some paint transfer on her door from a coworker opening the door too close to her that I removed by hand with 3D AAT Rubbing Compound. I also talked her into a future clay, polish and coating package since I could feel some contaminants. I should be back in a couple weeks to polish and coat.

"if momma ain`t happy, ain`t nobody happy" detailed a friend`s 2016 ss Camaro over the weekend and today it was necessary to maintain marital peace and harmony by detailing his wife`s jeep liberty. polished off the last sealant using pb ssr1 on orange pads and followed up with cp essence on white pads and a lsp of McKee`s 37 paint coating. marital bliss restored. :bow

I have the McKees paint coating, but yet to use it.

How did you like it? Was it easy to use?

Worked on my wells, which were caked with construction mud, clay and topped up with fresh tar from a dirt driveway at work, while our parking lot was replaced.
I used a Stoner foam that I`m sure did nothing but stink up the place,
also used Roll-off in a pressure sprayer with a double ended extension, that was so sweet I wanna do it again.
No brush worked to get inside the wells, tried 3. Luckily I brought a LC sm. bug sponge, turned it black then brown, and back to yellow so I`m good for now.
Wheels got very clean so I put some Nano Speedy-shine on the rubber.
I also used Solution Finish for the first time, on my step bumper that had wax staining from C****. That was the Solution alright. Great stuff !! :dance1

Yes I liked it. it was very easy to use and left a nice finish. I applied it over cp essence, so I haven`t tried it on just clean paint yet, but heard good reviews from others.

I came home yesterday from work and was debating if I should wash my Jeep SRT8 as it`s been almost a week (6th day). I was surprised how clean it looked while I was inspecting and decided it didn`t need to be washed.

I took one more look back at the paint in the sun and noticed swirls all over the paint! I literally couldn`t believe my eyes. There were scratches everywhere! A, B, C, D pillars, hood, etc.

Needless to say, I was panicked. I asked my wife if anyone had touched my car (with a brush or something).

I decided to wipe down my hood with some UWW+ at WW strength and the swirls were gone! I inspected the pillars again this time with a finger swipe and discovered that it was just actual spider webbing on the paint (from a spider). I was so relieved (I even found a few of the little baby spiders crawling on the paint). They must have just hatched from the trees above and landed on my car (it`s been sitting in the driveway 3 days undriven).

I took it for a high-speed spin on the highway and the webbing & dust was blow off the ceramic coated paint with ease.

Here`s a picture of what I saw (sorry it`s blurry the phone shut off as I took the photo):

Tried Pinnacle RW+C , with a PB`s S+G chaser, using Cobra WW. The PRW was very nice, S&G did kick it up a notch.
Think I`ll take her for a long drive maybe hit some bugs so I can try my PB`s bug squash and Gyeon Bathe+

Tried out these two products today as I was coating the glass.

Any upcoming review for it? :) I live in Seattle and in need of a long-lasting glass coating!! My customers want something stronger than the Pinnacle Glass Sealant. The only answer is to go with an affordable glass coating I suppose!
