BigFoot goes NANO: The next REVOLUTION in polishing and detailing - The BigFoot Nano w iBrid Technology

Yes like mentioned above, the small head and narrower design will allow for easier access to smaller areas, sort of reminds me of a Palm air ratchet I had , and this alone has me pretty sold on it and willing to accept the battery addition. Thanks for the reply Todd ,really keeping my eye on this one.

No, obviously not. But it serves a similar purpose and since it does it is directly its competition. My point is why would someone buy the iBrid if it is double the price or more of a Kompakt? Because it is strictly convenience of being wireless? C'mon man. Maybe it is just me, I have a tough time spending $500 just for the convenience.

You're comparing a stand alone tool with a single movement type and single input power type to a tool with 3 different types of movement, 2 power supply options, and a lower vertical profile. Not to mention the kit will also include a selection of pads, compounds, abrasives, and brushes, PLUS it will include a dedicated carrying case with custom cut foam for transport.

Its a lot more than just convenience - its a completely different segment of tool, one that hasn't existed before.

The body is quite similar to some pneumatic tools from the USA, However this is certainly a very nice tool
I like the changeable sets. Excellent idea regarding corded and cordless. Thanks for throwing rotary in there too

Price in Australia next year for it might be too painful to bare. Bigfoot was 700 here thus why I didn't buy it.

Door shuts boot shuts bonnet reveals the list is endless,i have to have it here's hoping that the price is reasonable, nice one Rupes, well done.

Finally I can de swirl my wifes interior wood panels.

Oh jeeze, I didn't think about those surface. The title of this thread should be updated to:

Todd,

As long as the price is not crazy, I will be a customer. Please go easy on us.

I am guessing that for all that stuff plus RD and kool factor I'm hoping 199-299 will do it

I'm guessing rupes will capitalize on this innovation with a high price. I think it's marketed towards ultra high end detailers that have the extra cash to spend on a tool like this.

Neat, but I don't think this is going to be something many weekend/hobbyist guys can justify.
I may be proven wrong, but it just seems to be a very niche product.
Kudos to Rupes for continuing to advance product development.

Just when you thin they couldn't of out done themselves with technology. This is truly a designers dream. The possiblities are endless with this tool. Incredible work Rupes team, my hat is off to you. I will own one or two for sure!

I think you are right. I would honestly be shocked if retail price was much under $600

I've already justified the price to myself since it's like buying 3 or more tools in one. So I won't suffer from sticker shock :)

When I do get one, I'm going to advertise motorcycle detailing services to recoup some of those funds.
