What is warmth? 28f here today with freezing drizzle and a wicked cold wind. Tomorrow high of 16f and low of 5f. UGH!!!!

Thanks for the reminder of what is to come.
Here is humor for you. We may go sub zero for a few weeks we still go outside, go to work, etc. When we warm up to 30F plus like it has the last few days we practically run around in shorts and a short sleeve shirt. Now your state the temps average above 70F(guessing) when you hit 60F the Parkas(type of winter jacket for you southerners) come out. When it hits freezing, which it is rare for your state but does happen, doesn't the state shut down and don't you folks go into hibernation?

Like I say, 50 here is colder than 50 there... Lots colder
When it gets down below lets say 50, most of the people are in leathers
My gf gets to wear her boots a couple of times a year, so winter clothes last longer here
