Glass polshing

Hey!
Do not use the pad on the paint any longer! It is not worth the risk!!

Instead, keep the pad (if it is a polishing pad) for applying a glass polish to the side and rear glass. Keep it off the front windshield unless you want very smeared glass in a rain storm.

I keep my older dinged pads just for the glass. As long as the damage is not extensive or cause the PC to shake from being unbalanced.

Great idea....thks

Hi Frozen, You are very welcome!

I just polished the windows on a somewhat neglected '98 Camry with SSR1. Inside and out. I just can't believe the difference it made! The windows are now crystal clear! Better than any cleaner I have used. It's dark out now and I will not have an opportunity for a picture, but they look great. The tip was suggested to me by Poorboy after I told him I had some BnB dried to the windows (that stuff is a super PITA to get off windows). I used a fair amount of polish on a terry applicator, but I did not polish unitl dry. Only a few strokes to ensure complete coverage. Then wiped it off with a MF.

Many of you probably polish out your windows already, but for those who don't: do it immediately. I'm most any mild polish will work just fine.
