As I never tried the Flex, I don't know its possible flaws, but yes, Makitas are nice machines indeed.



The BO6040 might be a fine choice for you. It has less pad throw but higher RPMs than the Flex.

Any bigger guys on here? Unfortunately the best way for me to order these up here in Canada is through mail order so I won't get to lay my hands on them in person. I'm new to machine polishing so likely not a rotary, any guys with big hands care to chime in on whats more comfortable? (I'm 6'7") This will be mostly for use on my own vehicles.

I got the PC 7336. I've never used a rotary yet, but I will upgrade sometime in the future.

I just wanted to give you guys an update, I a have been busy the last month so I finally got a chance to place an order for a polisher and accessories. Here is what I decided to go with to get some hands on. I have a handful of cars form 93-01 a couple are in dire need of refinishing, so I have some perfect test samples.



Flex 3401 w/bag

Menzerna IP, FPII, Final touch glaze

6.5" LC pads: 2 orange, 2 white, and one red
