I saw folex being used on an aston martin a while back and i just ran out of carpet shampoo. Any opinions? If this is a bad product are there any really good carpet shampoos?

It's a really good product, if the upholstery/carpets aren't too dirty you can skip the apc step and use folex. It's a good way to be sure you cover your bearings.

God darnet! Another thing of me being an ediot, but im never going to learn unless i swallow my pride and ask.

Vasupershine, whats an apc? is it like a cleaner? I think im officially an ediot!

apc= all purpose cleaner, but keep in mine I very rarely use an apc to clean carpets. There are a few dry cleaning methods i like to use and even a few aerosol cans out there that work wonders. Folex is a great spot/stain remover that is wonderful to use on all interior cloth upholstery and carpets.

Thanks! Also, i have a question about spot cleaning and shampoing. Is there a difference beetween the two fromulas? Can i use a spot cleaner as a shampoo?

Also try ZEP High Traffic Cleaner. I read about it here not too long ago and tried it out. With Folex as a spot cleaner and ZEP HTC on the carpet after, I was very happy how it turned out. I'm sure an extractor would have done better but with out one those are the products I turn to.

Also look into BioKleen(I think thats how its spelt). ScottWax uses it and says its great.
