Hi, I'm new to detailing my cars. I never really knew what to do (or bothered to find out) but that's changing.
Last week I bought a 2001 Lexus ES300 in Black/Onyx and I made up my mind that I need to change my ways and really learn how to care for my cars. My head hurts from all of the reading that I've been doing over the last week here and on other detailing forums (mostly here). All of the products and techniques are very confusing to a first-timer.
Anyway, my question has to do with the condition of my paint. It looks good and has good shine. The used car dealer clayed and waxed it before I picked it up. However, in the direct sunlight, I notice reflective streaks that I've come to realize are called holograms or buffer burn? (see pic). Sorry that the pic aren't that great (camera phone). The black dot in the middle of the star burst isn't really there.
What products or techniques would fix this? Thanks for the help.
